  • Every section written in proper government language
  • Every required form filled in, every disqualifier checked
  • You add your price, then print, sign and deliver it yourself
  • Every new account starts with 20 free credits, so your first build usually costs you nothing

How it works

No subscription, nothing monthly. You pay once, right before Scout builds your proposal, and you always see the price first.

Step 1
Find a contract
Browse thousands of open government contracts for free, or bring your own and upload an RFP you already have.
Step 2
See what it costs
The read is free. Before anything gets built, we show you the exact number of credits. A simple solicitation runs about 5 credits, around $25, and a big one costs more.
Step 3
We build it with you
We ask about your company, draft every section in proper government language, and fill in every form. You add your price, print, sign and deliver. If a build ever fails, you're refunded, every time.

Buy credits when you need them

Every new account starts with 20 free credits, so most people don't buy a pack until their first build or two is already behind them. After that: prepaid packs, no subscription and nothing monthly. Credits don't expire, so buy a pack and use it whenever the right job comes along. Bigger packs cost less per credit.

Why credits instead of a monthly fee

Most small contractors don't bid every week. You bid when the right job comes up, maybe a few times a year. Charging you every month for something you use once in a while never felt right. So there's no subscription. You buy a pack of credits, and you only spend them when there's a real bid on the table and Bidographer is doing the work.

No surprises, ever

You'll always see exactly what a proposal costs before you commit to it, never after. And the read is free, so you're never paying just to find out whether a job is worth your time. A simple solicitation runs about 5 credits, around $25. Bigger, more complex ones take more work and cost more. Five credits is the floor, there's no ceiling, and the number is on your screen before a single credit is spent. That's the whole system.

How much time you need

The read works on any deadline, so send us anything, any time. Once you've answered our questions, your packet comes back within 72 hours. Your own paperwork needs room on top of that, though, so send it with at least 7 days on the clock, or 10 if a bond or MBE/WBE participation is required: a surety, an insurance agent, a notary, and subcontractors all take days to come through. Inside that window we'll still send you the read for free and tell you honestly that it's too tight to build properly.

What stays yours

We fill in the paperwork, but some things only you can do, and it's better to hear that now than the night before the deadline. You set your price, and your price stays yours, we never touch it. You sign every form in wet ink. You get the non-collusion affidavit notarized. You handle the bid deposit or bid bond, and your insurance certificate. And you acknowledge any addenda the agency issues. We also don't invent qualifications, numbers, or promises you never made, so everything on the page traces back to your own answers and the solicitation itself.
